and if were talking abt their heavens yes it was very hard for dean to see that all of sams memories were away from his family and by extension him but what if i said its just as heartbreaking that deans only memory with sam was with a version of him that was easier to love

I agree! plus ruby was a witch before becoming a demon, and she taught him spells (when he mentioned in s5 - I don’t remember the episode) and later on, rowena as well. I love how consistent sam’s journey is, but I wish it was more explored

Wish they had explored more Sam's relationship with witchcraft. It fits his journey so well as a character who was ostracized and persecuted by a religious force, who was considered unclean and evil, undeserving of forgiveness, being later on condemned to die by (hell) fire

to be clear i feel bad 4 dean- but sam had every right to feel like his childhood sucked and im devastated that his happiest memories were little temporary moments where he could forget he wasn't normal. sam shouldnt have 2 like his shitty childhood for the sake of deans feelings
