There were so many learning opportunities today. Blackthorn discovered snow painting. They created real ice gems and experimented with different ways of adding colour to the snow ❄️

Residential visits give our pupils such rich learning & life opportunities & the team @dukesbarnbeeley challenged the group with a 5 mile canoe adventure on the Chesterfield canal - wildlife, a picnic & ice cream in the sunshine too. Some very tired arms this evening 🛶 🦆 ☀️

Yesterday @dukesbarnbeeley was a day of contrasts - caving in the morning, and then walking through the cold water in the sunshine in the afternoon. Everyone slept incredibly well last night!

We’re making our offsite #ForestSchool accessible to all. Lavinia & Thomas are trailblazers for our wheelchair users. Teamwork from our brilliant staff made this happen. These responses were the perfect reward! Lavinia explored everywhere & Thomas loved the hammock & sticks!
