Don't want to get this wrong, my many Irish friends. Goraibhmaithagat is an amalgamation of go raibh maith agat, Gaelic for 'thank you'. Is this correct?

A 96-year-old Irish cancer patient had never been away from his 94-year-old wife until he had to go elsewhere in the State for a biopsy.
While away, he started to die — so the Irish Defense Forces airlifted him home, where he passed away hours later. 🥹

@ashlene79 I have never heard of that Ashlene. The Easter Triduum is a celebration of word and music and the only silence I know is on leaving the church on Good Friday! Not sure where Robbert is saying his prayers!!!

Not the case in my parish tonight, congregation stayed for adoration and rosary after Mass. There is mass tomorrow and the magnificent Saturday vigil. Lots of carefully chosen music will accompany masses the world over throughout the tridium. The most beautiful time of year 🙌
