@JBonner71 He’s a bit eccentric and I don’t trust all of his life choices but he seems like he means well. I saw him once in Atlanta at a convention but didn’t get to talk to him.

@ashleybee89 I actually met him briefly in the Beverly Center Mall in like 1999 when I was out in LA. He was in a pet store with a woman who I'm assuming was his girlfriend at the time. He seemed OK then. 🤷

I watch this at least once a year. It never ceases to be hilarious and make me feel good. #NowWatching

@JBonner71 I went to his house last year and pet all his cats! I think I spent four hours there walking around doing my own tour 😂 hanging out on his upstairs balcony like I lived there. I didn’t make it to his favorite bar tho. Which one?

@ashleybee89 Haha... I was actually at Hemingway's House (and the bar he used to frequent) in Key West. Pretty cool stuff if you are ever down that way.

I hope you all had a Happy Easter! We did egg hunts and baskets. My daughter and I watched Fern Gully. That movie had no business having that many amazing voices thrown into it! It was fun letting her guess who did each character! Here is a cat playing in my Easter dress.

@JBonner71 I finished A Farewell to Arms first. It’s my favorite. Then I revisited The Old Man and the Sea and both made me ball my eyes out. Now I’m about to read For Whom the Bell Tolls. I also got a copy of his By Lines - 4 decades of journalism articles he wrote. They are pretty funny.

@ashleybee89 Nice. Yes, it's definitely better to read real books rather than social media nonsense. What of Hemingway's are you reading now? And thanks for sharing in regard to the tattoo. 😉

@JBonner71 I actually haven’t been on Twitter lately because I’ve just been reading non stop 😅 I’ve read six novels in the last month. My brain said no more staring at the tube! Hemingway is crushing my soul right now 😭

@JBonner71 It says Who is John Galt? From Atlas Shrugged. I got it when I was 18 before I understood how crazy Ayn Rand is with some of her shty ideologies. I was going to cover my body in quotes from all of my favorite books. Glad I didn’t end up doing that 😂

@ashleybee89 either do I and sadly I’m part of the problem. I hope younger people can keep them going because after my work week I’m staying in for my movie viewing lol. I got a fire place, a 65 inch TV, my cats, my recliner it’s all too tempting. plus plenty of snacks.

What are we excited about this year? I’m mostly looking forward to a new addition to the Evil Dead franchise this summer. I haven’t made it to the theater yet in 2026 and that’s going to be the thing to drag me out of my house.

@ashleybee89 i haven’t been to the movies since before covid lol. i always enjoyed going but now too lazy. looking forward to this film for sure but will rent when it’s on demand from the comfort of my recliner.
