I hate that I’m not able to be home to celebrate my favorite veteran, my dad. However, thank you @fleetweeksd and @sdmaritime for live streaming the boat parade! He’s at the back of the Swift Boat, which he spent over 678 hours restoring. 💗🇺🇸

@JHensley_DPHS @USArmy Happy Veterans Day! I often wished the district had a list of veterans who are employees in our district, so they can be recognized for their service ahead of the holiday. Wouldn’t it be nice for our students to know in case they are interested?

I don’t often get to create lessons in my current job, but I’m working on a @Yale virtual tour and research assignment for my @AVID4College teachers. It’s giving me all the Gilmore Girls feels. I hope the Ss like it as much as I’m enjoying putting it together.

Hey, @Flipgrid! We love using your program for our ELs to get extra practice speaking, but do you have any how to make a Flipgrid videos for EL students who speak languages other than English? Teaching students to use new programs during distance learning is complicated!

Getting set up for @Avid’s Summer Institute at my parents’ very small house. I might have to crawl over the table to get to my clothes for the next three days, but I don’t mind it. I’m ready! @pantherscms

My dad, as a 19-year-old, came back from serving in the Vietnam War 50 years ago today. I wish I could go home to tell him “welcome home” and “thank you for your service.” #callyourparents #thankaveteran

There’s nothing like spring break spring cleaning! I found all of my library cards, except for my very first @carlsbadlibrary tan and brown one from when I was five or so. I wish I had my original one!

I’ve been working in this town for six years and I’ve lived here for two, but today, for the first time, I drove into the canyon to get out of my house. I can’t believe how beautiful it is!

@deedeetheweenie I just watched this movie on Monday. I love it and Dalmatians so much. The people version with Jeff Daniels makes me so happy. I hope it warms up soon! Stay well!

I miss my hometown and my family so much.

On the first day of work from home, the power went out for my entire street. There’s water in the transformer box. They have to drain it, then replace the transformer.
