Last week we saw Florian Wirtz deliver a couple of standout performances for Germany with the national press declaring him "world class". Against Man City in the FA Cup for Liverpool he was back on the fringes of proceedings. How do you explain why Wirtz looks like two different players at present - an unstoppable playmaker for the national team and a bit-part player for his club?

@CFC_Simeone The back 4 is a joke, Van Dijk and Gabriel and Nuno Mendes deffo play. Don’t know about Reece James although he has been good this year. Possibly hakimi there. Fernandes is good and would be in the squad especially for output but szobozlai for me has been better overall.

Arsenal fans have spent the last 3 years consistently calling out every single ref & VAR error. Every single time they do it. They get abused by 99% Liverpool fans telling them to keep their mouths shut. And to get over it and stop blaming refs. My team against Frankfurt would be a mixture of players in form and players who deserve an opportunity to have the shirt in a big game rather than carabao cup. I would drop players who have been out of form.
