Last week I lost my eldest son to a massive heart attack. He was only 48. Believe me, nothing prepares a parent for the death of a child. Nothing. How I’ll get through his funeral this coming Thursday, I have no idea. I’m numb with denial. Our little family is shattered.
I am FORTY today!! 🎉
Those who have already hit their 40’s, please share your best piece of advice, or something I can look forward to from this decade, which promises me all sorts of things. I’m excited!
Ever read a book and been left devastated as you turned the final page? Ever found yourself asking: “Did I finish that book or did that book finish me?”
If so, what book was it? 🤓
Beloved, my old girl has passed away. After weeks of courage and whispered exchanges of love, my mummy has left us. And my world is colourless. Thank you for all your love and prayers over these last months. I appreciate you. ♥️
Little Alba is having one of her toughest days today. It’s been very up and down and some little set backs.
Her body is just under extreme pressure.
It’s not all bad news and I’m still hopeful. She could do with your prayers / thoughts or whatever you do 🙏… (1/6) 🧵
Whoa! This is a huge appreciation tweet to the contractors who rebuilt Clarence Drive after the terrible storm last year.
From making temporary plans to open before last Christmas...to completing before this Christmas.
Quality work..quality control and always professional.

I’m looking for something new to watch on Netflix that is non-violent, won’t scare me and is entertaining and witty. Any suggestions? None of the titles on all their default lists appeal to me.
I taught Riav (7) to make peppermint crisp tart today. He insisted on big pieces of chocolate because "who eats only a small piece." There is no video tutorial because there was a lot of "stop eating the ingredients" going on. ##riavreallove
