We’re proud to share that BLOX has been awarded Malaysia Digital (MD) Status 🇲🇾 A meaningful step as we continue building trusted infrastructure for digital finance in Malaysia.

In light of recent questions and speculation, we’d like to clarify a few things 👇 BLOX is currently in its Open Beta phase, focused on building stablecoin infrastructure for Malaysia 🇲🇾 ✔️ Operating independently (not part of DAIH at this time) ✔️ Maintaining a strict 1:1 fiat-backed reserve with a licensed trustee ✔️ Focused on transparency, security, and proper user verification ✔️ Strong compliance practices (KYC, AML, transaction monitoring) BLOX is not currently regulated in Malaysia under any specific framework that is directly applicable to independent stablecoin issuers. Nevertheless, we proactively follow international best practices to protect our users and the ecosystem. We’re here for the long term, building real infrastructure for digital finance in Malaysia. 2025 was an important year for BLOX and $MYRC 🇲🇾 It marked a shift from careful, behind-the-scenes building to broader public participation. For the first half of the year, our focus was simple which was to build responsibly, test thoroughly, and get the fundamentals right. That work culminated in July, when we officially moved from Closed Beta to Open Beta. Opening up access was a turning point. Since then, we’ve seen clear signs of growing adoption and real usage from increased transaction activity to a more engaged and active user base. These are not just numbers on a dashboard but indicators that on-chain financial infrastructure can serve practical, real-world needs. We also expanded $MYRC beyond a our existing networks, integrating with Solana and Base to support faster settlement and broader ecosystem participation. This multi-chain approach reflects what users and partners increasingly expect: efficiency, flexibility, and reliability. Most importantly, trust continued to grow. Our verified user base increased meaningfully year-on-year, reinforcing that users value compliance, transparency, and security alongside innovation. To our early testers who supported us during Closed Beta, and to everyone who joined us after Open Beta — thank you for being part of the journey. The foundations are in place. 2026 will be about building on this momentum, deepening adoption, and continuing to work closely with the ecosystem as the space matures.

Great to see more players entering the MYR stablecoin space. From BLOX’s perspective, this is a positive signal. Increased participation validates the real demand for ringgit-based stablecoins, accelerates real-world use case development, and brings valuable learnings to the ecosystem. Importantly, broader participation especially from established names as it helps regulators observe different models in practice and work towards clearer, more robust frameworks for Malaysia’s tokenised finance future.
