I've watched OU all season. Walks were what was killing us. In the postseason we've still been giving up HRs. But we've stopped the walks. That's the difference

@HamDawg115 I'm genuinely curious how many times the best regular season team has won the national championship? It's certainly not very often, at least recently. If you're a solid team and you get into the tournament you've got a chance if you get hot. That's the beauty of baseball. Boomer!

@ugabarstool You guys had a heck of a squad. I was definitely not expecting my Sooners to sweep them. My complaint if I was a Georgia fan, is even when Georgia was behind several runs, they'd still take huge swings at every pitch, with bases empty. Certainly an incredible season tho

SEC regular season champs, SEC tournament champs, Athens regional champs, Athens super regional champs, made the college World Series for the first time in 18 years, 2 college World Series games, top 4 teams in the country, beat Texas twice, program record 23 SEC wins. GO DAWGS

Georgia hit 3 HRs against us the 1st game, all solo. Because we're pounding the zone, no free bases

OU has been to the CWS finals twice in the last 5 years. Meanwhile Oklahoma State hasn’t made it to a super regional in 7. This is not okay, it should not be accepted, and we have to make a change.

@PPetesStache @Slunsford86 Scholarships aren't really a huge factor tho, especially by late season... OU hasn't used an offensive sub the entire postseason that I can think of. And used a grand total of t pitchers in Omaha. Skip is great at getting and developing grinders that just play hard

@44dmo @thecoco2020_ @CollegeBSBHub @DiamondHeels @OU_Baseball I disagree, they've got a lot of pitchers like Bodin and Cam Johnson that barely gave up any HRs. But they walked SO many guys, any hits they gave up were killers. I'm sure we gave up some HRs but it wasn't a huge amount

@Danny_Bigmac13 They'd both only hit 4 all year, I think Harris had 6 in his career. But I agree they do have HR capability. Seems like they're swinging to do damage right now instead of just slap hitting for singles like they were most of the season. Confidence is contagious!!

I'd practically guarantee if the coaching staffs were reversed, the results would be reversed as well. That said, let's go Sooners!!!
