@Sarah_Curley28 Toys that appear to contain less than 3.4oz of liquid/gel (approximately tennis ball size or smaller) are allowed in carry-on bags. The entire toy must be placed in a single, quart-sized, zip-top bag w/ other travel-sized liquids, gels and aerosols.

You can travel with one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish… but additional screening of your small finned friend and the water they are swimming in may be required. Arrive early, have a safe trip, and just keep swimming!

We manage the security screening operations for flights within or departing the U.S. Since your flight originates from outside the U.S., we advise asking your airline for guidance on packing your items. Customs and Border Protection manages entry procedures into the U.S. Please reach out to them for guidance. To see the various ways you can contact CBP, please visit: cbp.gov/contact

@JFKairport @TSA not JFK TSA agents all openly complaining and bitching about a private room check for a pet and the supervisor saying “I hate cats that’s why I am supervisor and can make others deal”. Incredibly unprofessional experience.

Thanks for the question! A nebulizer is allowed through security. It must be removed from its carrying case and placed in a separate bin for X-ray screening. Face masks/tubing may remain in the case. You may provide a clear bag to place the device through the X-ray. An officer may need to remove it to test for traces of explosives. Liquids associated with the nebulizer are exempt from the liquids rule and can be more than 3.4 ounces. However, at the checkpoint, the bottles of medically necessary liquid must be placed in a separate bin for X-ray screening.

@AndyPhalanx30 Generally, plug-in calf massagers are also allowed in carry-on bags. Please note however that even if an item is generally allowed, it may be subject to additional screening if it triggers an alarm during the screening process or poses other security concerns.

@AskTSA Would a plug in version of the same device, no battery, be a better option in carry on luggage. More generally accepted.

Breast milk and liquid formula are allowed in carry-on bags and can be more than 3.4 ounces per container. There's no limit on the total amount you may pack. You don't need to travel with your child to bring breast milk or formula through security. Inform our officers prior screening that you carry liquids in excess of 3.4 ounces. Screening these liquids may include bottle liquid scanners, Explosive Trace Detection, X-Ray, and Liquid Container Screening. For more info, please visit: tsa.gov/travel/tsa-car… The airlines regulate the size and number of items each traveler is allowed to bring on the plane. We recommend that you also contact your airline to determine which bags count towards your carry-on allowance.

@AskTSA - Your “gatekeeper” at BOS needs some education that a parent with Precheck AND Touchless ID is allowed to bring their minor child through with them. I showed both boarding passes and they refused to let me use the TouchlessID line. #learnthejob

You may bring medically necessary gels in carry-on bags. The containers can be over 3.4 ounces each. Although they don't need to be packed in your liquids bag, please let our officers know you have these items and place them in a separate bin for X-ray screening. For more info, please watch: youtube.com/watch?v=P1ebiv… If you're traveling internationally, we advise reaching out to the State Department and/or the Centers for Disease Control for guidance on traveling with medications. Foreign countries may have policies that differ from ours. You'll find helpful info at the following: travel.state.gov/content/travel… wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/page/tr…
