After nine years of working at The Stranger 12 hrs a day six days a week, they let me go. I would die for my staff and my colleagues. I’m willing to do slightly less for other employers, but I’m open to work.

🧵News: My mom has pancreatic cancer & I'm the only family who can care for her thru chemo/surgery. I've gone back east.
Crosscut doesn't want me working remote, so I'll take paid/unpaid leave. If things go well, I could be back on the job in time for election season.
