On Wednesday March 4, EU 🇪🇺 Deputy Head of Mission, Piotr Byczkowski and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Kamina Johnson Smith facilitated the handover of €100,000 from the Government of Cyprus, which will support Jamaica’s post Melissa recovery efforts.

🇪🇺EU Ambassador Dr Erja Askola was honored to be invited to 🇯🇲Jamaica’s 4th Annual Security Seminar, in which the Government convened key leaders to advance national strategic priorities in citizen safety and institutional strength.

On Wednesday, the European Union and the Caribbean joined forces to reaffirm their commitment against transnational organized crime.

The expansion of the Greater Portmore Health Centre is progressing well, with 65% of works completed. European Union Delegation Head of Cooperation Aniceto Rodriquez Ruiz had the pleasure of joining Hon. Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Christopher Tufton to visit the site.
