I don't know why, but seeing elderly people running through crowded stations to catch a train or a bus always leaves a lump in my throat. These are the same people who spent decades running for their families, their responsibilities, and everyone they loved. I wish life had rewarded them with slower mornings, unhurried evenings, and the comfort of never having to rush again. I hope one day they never have to run for anything... except the tiny arms of their grandchildren waiting to hug them.
