Mildred earned University First Rank during her Master’s degree (2019) and received the Teep@Asia Plus Student Exchange Fellowship from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (2022–2023).
While in Taiwan, she studied human–macaque interactions at Shoushan Nature Park in Kaohsiung.

Who’s eligible? Students, researchers, and educators from primate habitat countries within five years of their terminal degree (ASP membership required).

Applications for ASP Small Research Grant proposals are now open! The deadline for application submission is March 20, 2026.
Award amounts range from $500 to $2000. We welcome proposals on primate research from wild, zoo, laboratory and sanctuary settings.
