Sometimes really dislike how some authors use pride/arrogance of villains as a tool to make it easier for MC to beat them. It could be done tastefully but most of the time that character just looks dumb

that linnea quest is in my top 5 character quest oat. Everything was perfect and made me love both her and celaeno as a character. i think gensin really stepped up the quality for this quest. Both their eng VAs did such an amazing job as well

Idk why people in the comments acting like this is a hot take, I think it would unlikely as this would take bl to at least 800+ chapters if it has an actual wc arc if Nomura isn't bored or burnt out

I honestly don't see any world where Blue Lock continues after the U-20 World Cup despite Nomura’s statement - Most of the New Gen 11 will have been revealed by then - Character arcs and major plotlines (Rin/Sae, Nagi, Isagi) will have reached their absolute peak - If Ego gets fired because Japan loses, what is Blue Lock without Ego? And if Japan actually wins where do you even go from there? Anyway IMO this is the final arc and I think a lot of you are going to be disappointed

That akane banashi episode was perfect. I was worried on how they were going to translate the rakugo to make it seem entertaining to a wider audience but I can see the studio is putting their love in the animation and art direction just from this episode alone

Just watched the super mario movie, 6.5/10. Good movie, tons of references and cameos the fans would love it and it's very kind friendly. First time I kinda wished they would put more jokes because the movie wasn't that funny. Overall it's what I expected it to be
