@NorbertBanker do journalists even know what they are writing these days.. it is clearly stated that DC was not issued, in the last para. yet most of the article is about how bank is negligent, when literally the bare minimum document required is the DC.

@kiran_mythreyan @Scholar_ @idesibanda that's what i am saying, dont co operate with "sadistic" manager and burn the candle for a good manager. toxic work environment prevails because you make good managers lose. manager need to have only one attitude, the winning attitude. the means he employs is irrlevant

@asriel22 @Scholar_ @idesibanda But the toxic work environment plays a crucial role too. You don’t get enough motivation. Even krishna’s famous quote “do your work and disappear” will not work. So the attitude of a manger needs to change from person to person.

Just imagine what the manager must be going through. What did he do? He only asked for a death certificate. Has following the law become a crime now? #Banking #Odisha #JituMunda

@kiran_mythreyan @Scholar_ @idesibanda if you dont take advantage of "good" managers by taking it easy, and working with the same effort you give for the "sadistic" manager, you can change the proportion. if you are motivated at your job in the first place the problem wont come

@asriel22 @Scholar_ @idesibanda I guess being friendly and backstabbing cum back bitching about you with others, setting up traps for your personal n professional life so that you would beg him for help is also job of the manager.

@revathitweets Knowing how our people drive, I can almost play out the sequence of events in my head. Flooring the accelerator is literally the last skill needed for driving fast and safely.

So horrific! Six people from the same family died in a car accident at Exit 16 on the Shamshabad Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad, just a little while ago. Their car rammed into a stationary lorry while coming back from darshan at Yadagirigutta. Very sad.

@kiran_mythreyan @Scholar_ @idesibanda I am assuming you see him as some kind of hard headed dude who makes you run from pillar to post and you can only fume.. It is those kind of managers who won't face these kinda stunts.

@saranya_pmathi but you are already following a personality cult sister. indeed ideology free is possible, but you have to be well informed where you can have action plan for everything. if you reach that point, you are already a millionaire. you dont so you stick to vijaism upis to their thing.

We don’t want Dravidam, Periyar, or Anna ideologies. A government’s job is simple serve people with transparency. That’s our only expectation. It’s that simple. Stop hiding behind ideologies to mislead us.

@gautambhatia88 Consider Phlebas had a very indulgent editor imo. PoG was a crisp thriller comparatively. Come to think of it, it too would be a fascinating spy thriller kind of movie.

@asriel22 His sickness is most manifest in the completely unnecessary cannibalism scenes in Consider Phlebas, which ruined the book for me.

Just finished The Hydrogen Sonata. Having now read all the Culture novels other than Matter, here is my ranking list. 1. Look to Windward 2. Excession 3. Surface Detail 4. The Hydrogen Sonata 5. The Player of Games 6. Use of Weapons . . . . . . . . 7. Consider Phlebas

@gautambhatia88 Look to Windward is the quietly underrated one though. And Surface Detail is basically a masala Hollywood movie. Only, they have to cut out the Zakalawe bits and have it be directed by Villenueve..

@gautambhatia88 Well, those two are Special Circumstances agents, (which you doubtless know) and for once it was refreshing to take a break from the megastructures and Minds of the other books, and read about philosophies of restraint when having god-like power.

There is no magic pill "one book i should read about a subject" The masters of a subject all came through the hard way: by reading boring text books and working out the exercises. Everything else is the marketing of the publishing industry.
