Today the House passed a bill that will allow counties to start opening mail-in ballots seven days before election day. Right now they can't start opening them until 8 am on election day and it needs to stay like that! Call your Senator and tell them to HOLD THE LINE!! VOTE "NO" ON THIS HORRIFIC BILL!! Find your Senator here: palegis.us/?oldsitemobile…

What is a delegate? A delegate is someone who in Pennsylvania is elected by the voters of that particular party to go to the national convention to have a vote in the presidential nominee for the party. In Pennsylvania each congressional district gets 3 delegates and 3 alternates that will represent at national convention (there are a few others chosen by the party and positions that go). If you’re going to petition signings around the state, you’re probably going to see somebody that has a delegate petition. Each delegate is required to get a minimum of 250 signatures to even be able to be on the ballot in our primary in April. If you see somebody that has a delegate petition and is asking for your signature to get them on the ballot , my recommendation would be to ask them who they are supporting for the nominee and find out a little bit about their background and experience. You are only allowed to sign three petitions for delegate and three petitions for alternate, and you must be registered in that particular party of the petition that you’re signing. I wanted to make sure that people understood this as I know personally before 2020 I had no idea what a delegate was.
