@astcbpe I'm thinking bacon would part better with ice cream, lol. But I'll try most things once. I'm surprised Nebraska didn't get chili & cinnamon rolls, though. I literally know 0 people here who eat hot beef sundaes but loads who eat chili & cinnamon rolls (Runza ones are 🔥).

Fried Squirrel isn’t weird, it was pretty normal. Used to cook em and put them in soup, “squirrel dumplings”.
Wild Leeks maybe? But, that’s was normal too when you could find em.
Anyone from WV saying they haven’t eaten squirrel is from town.

@astcbpe The funny thing is, I'm not even "country"... I grew up in Columbus, NE, which is a town of about 20k, 80 miles west of Omaha. From what I remember, squirrels tastes like chicken.
I have never heard of a hot beef sundae, though. I don't think ice cream would pair with beef.
