Last week, on February 8, 2024, we hosted a PGR talk where Alberto Rodriguez Cuevas, PhD student at @AstonPhotonics, presented his research on Polarization Multiplexed Dual Optical Frequency Comb: Study, Dynamics, and Applications.

We had our first event of the year, Meet & Greet, on 19th of January 2024. During it we introduced the new chapter officers, presented the benefits of joining Optica & SPIE & had a fun filled evening with snacks. @OpticaWorldwide @SPIEtweets @AstonPhotonics

Last week, the Aston Chapter had their own desk at the Girls Into Electronics Day at Aston University. We saw a huge crowd of enthusiastic high school students as well as teachers, who were amazed by the world of photonics and wonders of light. @SPIEtweets @OpticaWorldwide
