Right now everyone is talking about switching from LilToon to Poiyomi Pro only because it has SSAO, Contact Shadows or Squish but you don’t even realize how many amazing features this shader has that you probably don’t know about. You just need to explore all the sections and let your creativity run free. For example at this video (Use full screen for better immersion) you can see an effect from Poiyomi Toon called "Wind/Flag" in the "Basics & Fun" section. Who would’ve thought that something that seems completely silly and that no one would even want to touch could be used to create such a beautiful wind-blown hair effect? Right now next is Selestia>Manuka>Mayo (maybe? im not sure) I didn’t consider Misaki because she’s still too new — she could still end up being a flop like Shuan (Poor Shaun, that was a very nice avatar). Besides, Lumina already filled the gap left by the missing Shinra really well, so I’m not sure if there’s even room for another avatar like this here.

@Vainnze Yea and good for performance, for example my avatar get extra 40fps by merging all layers into DBT.

@astraea_zero Fair point! Right now it generates Blend Trees but keeps them on separate layers. Since my own avatars rarely cross 50 layers, it worked fine, but I totally get the pain of 100+. Putting them all into a single DBT layer is a great idea for the next updates <3

You’re talking nonsense — there are plenty of avatars that look almost identical, mostly like Karin and others from that line and no one says anything about it. If you look at the overall design here you’ll realize it’s actually a completely different avatar. The face is different too — at most those eyelids probably triggered people because that part looks almost identical to Shinano. I’d just call it inspiration and leave it at that ;p Anyway, even though I’m not a fan of Shinano, I somehow like this model ;3 I don’t know why, there’s something cute in it ;3

I’d like to, but it’s just not profitable for me. Assets for new avatars tend to get mass-ripped because there isn’t much content for them yet, so I probably won’t make something for Mayo until about half a year to a year later, once things settle down.I’ll also add that Kumaly ended up being my worst-selling asset because of this, despite the high interest — you can probably guess the rest. Sorry ;<
