@oh__heywon yeah, I haven't nailed down exactly why it doesn't work for me and I might never, but it just doesn't make me feel anything. the only musical story that I was kind of interested in was the gugak stuff on body to body, but I still wasn't too compelled by the execution

@astranswer H---li-an is like... the least of the issues on the album tbh, like the laughter part is unnerving and shouldnt have been a thing really or focused on so much, but as far as like... the worst parts of the album... it's literally not the problem

im listening to that album now, unbiasedly as someone not joining the hate train, i think the snippets people show are misleading, especially the edited ones, but yeah 4 songs in i am quite disappointed with a lot of it, but also the songs going viral on hate trains arent why

I didn't like the album but it's funny that one half of BTS psychosis thinks some expensive hip hop production that's debatably not compelling is the worst thing ever made and here's the guy army/blink thinks is satan saying hooligan is at least relatively praiseworthy

“Hooligan” is very obviously one of the best songs on the BTS album, such fun contrasts there (prod by El Guincho & Fakeguido too). K-pop fans want their boy bands to rehash Travis Scott for the 10th year in a row. They forget that all the best K-pop boy bands can be goofy.
