Elon, if Astroid is chosen as @SpaceX ’s mascot, it would be incredible to see the original Astroid plush return, keeping the name exactly as Liv created it. It would be a meaningful way to honor her work and share it with others again through the SpaceX shop 🧡

It was never meant to be changed. ASTROID is the name she gave it and that’s the name we keep. Authenticity above everything. It just feels right… and maybe Elon sees it too. ASTROID as the SpaceX mascot makes sense.

Astroid is the blueprint that started it all. Everything traces back to it and that’s why it will always be ASTROID 💫✨

One day, it’s going to be Astroid and Elon on Mars 🌌🚀 Feels far now. But the way things are moving, it doesn’t seem impossible anymore.

A mistake can happen once. But not twice. Liv consistently used ASTROID in her original design and that speaks for itself. That’s the name she chose; let’s respect it and honor her Astroid. ❤️

Liv intentionally spelled it ASTROID. As a left-handed cancer survivor, tumors affected her left side and handwriting but in her original drawings, she consistently named her Shiba Inu ASTROID. While Asteroid is used, ASTROID is Liv’s name and honoring it means honoring her. ❤️

@Delinamm7 That is not my daughter - she is @rebeccaperrotto daughter Liv. One of the bravest and coolest people I know - she designed the Zero G indicator for Polaris Dawn mission - 'Astroid'. That is what she is holding.

At 15 years old, Liv Perrotto’s biggest dream was to meet @elonmusk. She had even written out a list of questions to ask him. Her mother @rebeccaperrotto told me that just days before she passed away from cancer, she had a chance to speak with Elon, but she was too tired and asked him to call later. The questions still sit on her nightstand, unanswered. Liv's mother shared them with me in hopes that Elon would change that today. 1) Are you going to make your own phone? 2) Are you expanding the Tesla Diner to new areas? 3) Will there be any new games with any upcoming Tesla updates? 4) What is your favorite anime? 5) Have you ever been to Japan? What was your favorite place/thing there? 6) Do you know who Hatsune Miku is? 7) Was Ani inspired from Misa from Death Note? 8) Can you make Asteroid (the Shiba Inu zero-g indicator she designed for the Polaris Dawn mission) the mascot for SpaceX?
