Do realize how rare it is to have a Republican trifecta control of the House, Senate, and White House? It’s only happened 5 times in the last century. 1920s under Harding and Coolidge. 1955-57 under Eisenhower 2003-07 under Bush after 9/11 2017-19 under Trump 1.0 2025 - present under Trump 2.0 These windows are precious and too easily squandered (just look at how the neocons destroyed the Bush years). We must make this one count. Replace Thune, cancel August recess, and pass the SAVE America Act.

The saddest thing I have ever done? I just signed the release form for the morgue to release my youngest son’s body to the funeral home. I am beyond knowing how to handle this grief. It hit me hard on the way to work this morning while I was driving in🥹🥹🥹🥹
