@NASA @TheAnswerUg In spite of the small 1920 x 1280 pixels size these images are of superb quality also considering that they were shot through a window! Wish I had my C8 out there. It is still too early but is @NASA planning to release hi-res uncompressed images on a later date?

@NASA @NASA, please forgive my ignorance, the LRO has already chartered the entire far side. What is the difference to Artemis II's planned imagery?

Lock in, we’re Moonbound. Artemis II astronauts are more than halfway to their destination, and preparations for lunar flyby are underway. During their trip around the far side of the Moon, they will capture imagery to share with scientists (and you, too!).

@NASA Unfortunately for imaging the rear side of the moon is a launch at full moon.
