Today is 11 years since we lost our Imran #BrainInjury Still no Serious Case Review by @TowerHamletsNow. Local Child Safeguarding Board admitted after years that a SCR review should have been done. Much love @UKVCF @ApsanaBegumMP @UKABIF for unwavering support @CSPR_Panel

@pamelafitz4HW We had to deal with him in Tower Hamlets. He seemed to be devoid of any of the emotions necessary to represent anyone - apart from himself!

Good grief - Dan Tomlinson, a Labour MP apparently, on Newsnight. Just appalling. They just don’t get how out of touch, how arrogant they are.

EXCLUSIVE: Rachel Reeves’s new business adviser is embroiled in a criminal investigation over alleged vote rigging Pearleen Sangha was Labour’s London regional director when the MP candidate selection for Croydon East was suspended in suspicious circumstances Members’ contact details used by some seeking the candidacy seemed have been changed to be wrong systematically. - Phone numbers wrong by a single digit - Fake email addresses aping real ones - Home addresses with wrong street no Having incorrect contact details meant members could not be approached that way by candidates seeking their vote It triggered a wave of allegations that the selection process had been stitched up in favour of a particular candidate A @Telegraph investigation can reveal the Metropolitan Police has now passed a file to the Crown Prosecution Service (!!) There is no suggestion Sangha is personally being investigated by police. But as the party’s regional director, she was in charge of overseeing the selection Labour rules say regional directors set selection timings, hand-pick two people to help run the race and decide who can attend hustings @Telegraph has seen analysis revealing how much local member contact details were changed vs the correct details We’ve also talked to a local signed up to an electronic vote without her knowledge via a fake email address in her name Sangha was brought into the Treasury as the Chancellor’s business engagement lead last month - a civil service post Sangha, approached via the Treasury, did not issue a comment. Read our investigation and the full responses over here: telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…

Last year, I ran in an election where I faced ongoing abuse, harassment and coercive control. It’s relentless and goes on and on, along with the wall of institutional gaslighting. I want to be clear once more: I will never submit.

It’s ABI Awareness Week Every 90 seconds, someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury. This week, is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the hidden impact of ABI – from memory loss and fatigue to changes in behaviour and emotions. Too many people are left to navigate this complex journey without the right support. Together, we can change that. Let’s talk about ABI. Let’s listen. Let’s advocate. #ABIAwarenessWeek #UKABIF #BrainInjuryAwareness #InvisibleDisability #Neurorehabilitation

How can families be assured that all of the relevant info has been passed on when they are not able to use Subject Access Requests / FOI requests with this org? Families often have the most info regarding their child. But dont seem to be involved with the review process

2/2 Is it just assumed that they will share fully? What if the info reflects badly on their service? Are there any processes to scrutinise this? Many thanks

@BrownLaurelle Hi, I was wondering how the information partners share with the THSCP is scrutinised? What assurity is there that they have handed over all of the relevant information to case review group? There have been instances in the past at TH where this has not happened 1/2

The Time for Change report highlighted that ABI is chronically under-recognised and poorly understood in education settings. ABI is also not currently a Special Educational Needs (SEN) category, meaning that we have very poor data on the kind of support children with ABI receive when transitioning back to school after injury, and what their outcomes are in education.
