En más de seis décadas de Revolución socialista, a noventa millas de EE.UU, jamás ha salido de este territorio una sola acción ofensiva contra la seguridad nacional de ese país.
En todo caso, y así está probado, documentado y hasta reconocido por organismos internacionales y agencias estadounidenses de administraciones anteriores, #Cuba ha contribuido con EE.UU a preservar su seguridad en el enfrentamiento a delitos transnacionales de diversa índole.
Contrario a cualquier amenaza hacia EE.UU, Cuba ha sido objeto de incontables acciones ofensivas fraguadas desde ese territorio, en todos estos años de Revolución, que han dejado miles de cubanos heridos o muertos.
Cuba ha debido trabajar en todo este tiempo para enfrentar con firmeza y serenidad las amenazas que llegan desde EE.UU y así seguiremos hasta las últimas consecuencias.
Señalar a Cuba como amenaza es, en primer lugar, cínico. Por lo que prueba la historia y por lo que dicen los hechos ahora mismo: cada día sale una nueva amenaza de EE.UU hacia Cuba.
Señalar a Cuba como amenaza, mientras se decretan medidas coercitivas adicionales y se acusa a su gobierno de incapaz de sostener mínimamente su economía, es tan incoherente y fantasioso que ni quienes promueven la tesis son capaces de sostenerla con argumentos sólidos.
Todo forma parte de una construcción narrativa sobre la cual seguir asfixiando al pueblo cubano, además de escalar a un conflicto que pudiera tener consecuencias inimaginables para nuestros pueblos y región.
Cuba no amenaza, ni desafía, pero tampoco teme.
