Seen some creators advocating to make TBC Raids harder. Keep Heroics same. Here is a project for those creators. 1 - Get a new WoW account seperate from your current BNET. 2 - Start a brand new toon 3 - No boosting and start leveling 4 - don't tell a soul who you are 5 - no handouts, no buying gold, no trading for loot because you are known. no special treatment. 6 - no secret giga chads carrying you 7 - Apply to a guild you think would be a good fit for you. Can't be the ones you already know are insanely good and sweaty Then report back on how easy the content is when you're by yourself with no one knowing who you are, no one spoon feeding you mats, gear, etc and let's see. I bet you have more fun then complaining how the raids are too easy.

But doesn’t mean we can’t argue it’s bad practice to remove the thing players have been asking for (Valorstones) only to add a gold sink into it to entice wow tokens to further line blizzards pockets. It’s disingenuous considering beta had crests only for weeks.

@TaliesinEvitel It’s not a gameplay issue per se (though I do think gearing and seasons have become overly formulaic and stale). The issue is the tone of the story. Go play through the vanilla quests from Rend to Onyxia and compare that to the Amirdrassil cinematic. It’s a complete tonal shift.

@JestersWar See that's subjective. In my opinion wow is better now from a gameplay standpoint than it has been for, like, 15 years. And that's not a controversial opinion.

@TaliesinEvitel The end cinematic from Amirdrassil for one. If datamining is correct the ending of the Sunwell as well. But I think it’s moreso tone. Go play classic and do the rend questline with Thrall. That type of intensity and “bring me his head” is few and far between these days in wow.

@Portergauge If they can make them feel like Zelda dungeons with interesting and interactive puzzles/platforming I am all in. If it’s just longer delves with more of the slog of dying to white swings…hard fucking pass.

Really excited for Labyrinths and the expansion of the Delve system into 'mega-dungeon' formats. I am so glad in general that the new systems added since Dragonflight like Delves and Skyriding have become evergreen features to expand on, and not single-xpac gimmicks.
