The Panda Godfather event had a great burning mechanic (Enhance), but as we expected, the Rafflemint outcome provides a tough lesson on game economy.
The Data:
127 tickets total, with whales injecting up to 2.5M GMT.
The 50% refund turned a 'lucky raffle' into a guaranteed arbitrage: with a net cost of 50k GMT, winners are now listing sneakers at 85k GMT for a quick flip.
The Impact:
Asset Devaluation: The Legendary floor price is under artificial pressure, hurting long-term holders.
Community Exclusion:
Those who did the heavy lifting (Enhancing/Burning) were mere spectators to a 'whale-only' profit party.
Erosion of Trust: In Web3, trust is built on fair opportunity. When an apology subsidizes the profit of the top 1%, the grassroots community feels ignored.
Constructive Feedback:
For future events, tie raffle eligibility to the Event Badge. Let in-game effort (Enhancing/GST burning) be the entry gate, not just liquid capital. Stepn thrives on movement and community engagement, not just liquidity sniping.

This '50% refund to winners' solution creates a perverse incentive. As seen on MOOAR (only 2 tickets so far), it encourages a single whale to buy all the tickets and monopolize all 5 prizes. In practice, you are subsidizing a 100% profit for one person, while 99% of the community who participated in the Enhance event remains excluded. A real apology would be reopening the raffle with accessible tickets for Badge holders, ensuring fair distribution and long-term ecosystem health. Don't turn a community event into a subsidized whale flip.

Silence doesn't mean indifference. Yesterday, behind the scenes, we were reporting the massive issues and standing up for you. Feedback was sent immediately—including my own—alongside an army of Ambassadors who shared your frustrations.
We promoted the Panda Event, but we didn't have all the data. Being an Ambassador doesn't mean we know everything in advance.
Yesterday I received dozens of DM's with accusations, threats, etc...
Some respect me, some blame me, but I have done everything for you. For 3.6 years, I was online all the time, I communicated with everyone in the community, regardless of whether they were from Japan, Spain, Germany, etc.; nothing was a barrier for me. I’ve hosted dozens of IRL & online events, given away over $40k in prizes, and founded communities/run clubs/ran marathons for promotion/made dozens of connections - because community is everything. If I didn’t believe in the project, I wouldn’t be here anymore. But I LOVE STEPN because STEPN changed my life and STEPN will continue to be here. I promise!

Subject: Improving Event Communication and Community Inclusion✔️
The recent Enhance Event brought a great mechanic for burning assets, but the final execution of the Legendary Sneaker Raffle revealed a significant gap between the team's strategy and the community's reality.
The Issue:
The requirement of 100k GMT per ticket for the raffle was not clearly communicated from the start. For many players who spent resources to get the Badge and Background, finding out the "grand prize" was gated behind such a massive entry fee was demotivating.
The Result:
Currently, seeing only 2 tickets from the same user for a Legendary Raffle is a red flag for the ecosystem. It shows that the event turned into an exclusive auction for "whales" rather than a reward for the active community. This concentration of top-tier assets harms long-term decentralization and player morale.
💡 Constructive Proposals for Future Events:
1.Full Transparency from Day 1: All costs and entry requirements for raffles should be disclosed at the launch of the event. Expectations must be managed to avoid "bait and switch" feelings.
2.The "Badge = Ticket" Model: If a player earns a specific event Badge, they should automatically receive 1 Raffle Ticket. This rewards participation and effort, not just liquid capital.
3.Tiered Raffle Pools: Create a "Community Pool" (accessible via Badges/lower GMT fees) and a "Pro Pool" (higher fees/higher odds). This ensures that Legendary items can also reach dedicated mid-tier players.
4.Incentivize Asset Burning over Direct GMT: Allow players to "pay" for extra tickets by burning low-level Gems or GST. This helps the game economy more than just stacking GMT in a raffle pool.
Stepn is built on its community. Let’s make sure future events celebrate the entire player base, ensuring that "Legendary" opportunities aren't just for the 1%, but a reward for those who move with us every day. 👟🔥
