@chuckcheatley Yes, I definitely agree..... Its only because we are loyal that we still hope this will be a wake up call but I fear that it won't be. Melbourne's improvement this year is putting us to shame. Bold, intense team football working for each other

@atc_mark Highlighted him as today he showed he can’t cover the ground, could have easily picked injured players selected, low IQ players doing roles that will give up goals week in out, poor goalkicking, poor skills, low % footy, the poor forward entries or the other 50 things.

If Charlie Spargo is AFL fit then we have massive issues with our fitness standards. He unfortunately isn’t selecting himself, but how can a fat bloke on the couch see something so clearly that the whole footy club can’t see.

it’s beyond ridiculous that this is not paid HTB, but a player standing up in a tackle and legally disposing after what the ump deems to be one nanosecond too long IS paid HTB the holding the ball rule is completely broken

Totally agree. Must play 2 solid blocks of games in 2026 especially with the impending retirement of Dating and hopeful delisting of Coleman-Jones. Better ruckman than Darling with the ball throw up too

@ArdenStReview Our best is much better but our worst is still as horrible. We have too many passengers, particularly down back with Logue, Corr and Danial not up to it. We won't be a finals side unless they try some kids and get the experience into them

We sit at 4 wins and 4 losses after eight rounds of footy.
Over the last month we were competitive with the Lions for three quarters, smashed the Tigers, stayed in it with the Giants right until the final siren, and matched the Cats for a half before they kicked away with 16 goals after the break.
How are you seeing things eight rounds into the 2026 season?
