My grandmother passed away yesterday at the age of 91. A matriarch one side of the family she acted as daycare for 5 grandkids for years and taught us all manners and sheer stubbornness and willpower. I am glad she can rest and I am happy she heard and saw me one last time,

I was invited to a podcast that you have to pay to listen to. When I asked if I will be compensated in any way, I was told no. I feel that's kinda shitty and when I voiced it, I was told that I wasn't a good fit for the podcast. Totally fine by me but am I in the wrong here?
