After last night’s disappointing result, we had the difficult task of confirming that @GeorgeLock28 will be moving on from Ascot United. A remarkable servant with a club record 𝟑𝟐𝟐 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 and an FA Vase win, George has been an outstanding ambassador for this club in every sense. He still has plenty to offer, and leaves with our heartfelt thanks and respect. He will always be welcome home. 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚. #WeAreAscot #UpTheYellas

We are delighted to have learnt that an agreement has been made protecting the future of @MorecambeFC, thus ensuring our fixture on Monday, 25th August, will go ahead. Following this news, Aldershot Town Football Club have agreed to donate half of the ticket revenue from Morecambe's away following for that game back to the Morecambe Supporters Trust. We would also like to thank our Programme Printer, Bishops Printers, for printing an extra 200 programmes free of charge to enable us to provide 200 free Matchday Programmes for visiting supporters (available on a first come, first served basis). As a Club that has suffered from financial adversity in the past, our supporters and stakeholders know all too well the turmoil that has been thrust upon those involved with the Shrimpers in recent times. We look forward to welcoming Morecambe and their supporters to the EBB Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday for what will be their first away day of the 25/26 Enterprise National League season. Tickets for home and away supporters can be bought online here 👉 app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/Tickets/Se…

In the weeks following our Isuzu FA Trophy victory at Wembley, club and @ShotsFoundation staff visited several local nursery, primary and secondary schools in our local community. We have been overwhelmed by the support of our young fans since our win at Wembley and we hope to give them plenty more memorable occasions in the future! The school children and staff pictured below are a handful of those that we visited but include Alderwood Senior School, Park Primary School, The Cambridge Primary School, Toye Box Early Years Centre, Talavera Junior School, and the @ShotsFoundation half-term camp here in Aldershot!

Makes complete sense to do this, might upset a few but if it saves the club money why not do it, there is still a slab they can have, just other end of the pitch, really not that deep
Aldershot Town FC@OfficialShots

Ahead of the 25/26 season, the Club has made plans to rearrange the areas of the EBB Stadium housing away supporters that will allow us to claim the full East Bank as ours. Please note that all changes are currently subject to approval from Health and Safety stakeholders and all developments will be communicated as soon as possible. Changes proposed will see all current areas of the EBB Stadium designated to away supporters (The South side of the East Bank, the Away Terrace Uncovered and the East side of the South Stand Seating) now designated to home supporters. The West side of the South Stand Seating will now become the seating area for away supporters with the Slab now becoming the Away Terrace. This will also apply to segregated games and further details will be communicated once plans are approved. The Club already faces a high stewarding bill and with costs increasing further, we have had to look at all possible ways of reducing expenditure. The current setup of away fans entering via Redan Hill utilises significantly more stewarding than would be needed under the new proposal and therefore will save the Club money. We understand that this will mean some of our loyal supporters will have to change where they support us and we apologise for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, until the proposal has been given the green light by the Safety Advisory Group, we will only be able to offer season ticket renewals in the Slab and west side of the South Stand Seating and those in question will have their season tickets reserved until a decision is finalised. Anyone looking to renew their season ticket in the Slab or the west side of the South Stand Seating, may be subject to having their ticket relocated upon the approval of these plans. Until a decision has been finalised, no new season tickets will be available to purchase in these areas. We ask that these supporters are patient as we will communicate any developments as soon as possible. Our Earlybird period will be further extended this summer and we remain hopeful that a conclusion will be reached before prices rise, providing all supporters the opportunity to purchase at the lowest possible price.

Today's Vanarama National League match with AFC Fylde has been postponed following a Pitch Inspection after today's Referee has deemed areas of the pitch unplayable. Following a surprise period of heavy snow yesterday afternoon, we were in constant communication with our visitors, AFC Fylde, and today's Match Officials and after a night of extended rainfall, it was agreed to hold a Pitch Inspection at midday today. The Referee then deemed the pitch unplayable and allowed a period of time for sand to be distributed around the areas of concern, but then was not satisfied the work done had improved playing conditions. Thank you to our Volunteers and Ground Staff for their hard work in attempts to get the game on.
