@viktoroddy the 0-500 phase is the hardest mentally. tagging bigger accounts feels desperate until it suddenly works

A lot of people have been asking me how I actually grew on X… In my experience, the path to grow on X is extremely simple: 0-500: tag bigger accounts so they will repost your content and share you to their entire audience, that’s the real accelerator 500-3000: do giveaways/lead magnets. It’s either product, service, or information 3000-10000: download Tweet Hunter Chrome Extension, analyze the most viral posts of people in your niche, then replicate them 10000+: just experiment with the content. Below 10k you’re big enough for virality but not big enough for people to overthink you. Perfect time to test.

What is your biggest bottleneck right now? - I cannot pick one idea - I cannot finish what I start - I cannot get users - I cannot stay consistent

You don't need 10K followers to get clients. You need 100 people who actually trust you. Most people are optimizing for the wrong number. What do you think?

@xaviroca1 Most founders build a brand for who they want to be 3 years from now. The ones who actually build an audience show up as who they are right now, mess and all.

@therahulissar eCom never left. People who said it was dead just had bad offers and blamed the market instead of fixing their product.

BREAKING: WHOOP RAISES $575M AT $10.1B VALUATION  I am pleased to announce that we’ve raised $575M at a $10.1B valuation to accelerate our mission of unlocking human performance and healthspan globally. This round was led by Collaborative Fund with participation from 2PointZero Group, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Mubadala Investment Company, Abbott, Mayo Clinic, Macquarie Capital, Glade Brook, B-Flexion, IVP, Foundry, Accomplice, Affinity Partners, Promus Ventures, and Bullhound Capital alongside a group of individual investors including Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Rory McIlroy, Virgil van Dijk, and Mathieu van der Poel. This investor group and this moment reflect a powerful evolution underway for Whoop and the broader healthcare market. Whoop was born in performance - trusted by the best athletes in the world to train, recover, and compete at the highest level. That foundation remains core to who we are. You see that in the iconic athlete investors joining this round.  But it also represents our push into broader health.  In the past 12 months, WHOOP has received medical clearances, launched blood testing, and created a platform that has saved lives. Abbott and Mayo Clinic - two of the most respected and influential institutions in global healthcare - are now investors in Whoop. These are organizations that have shaped modern medicine. Their decision to partner with us is a clear validation of where our technology is headed. Healthcare systems around the world are reactive. For too long, they have waited for people to get sick, then intervene. Chronic disease is rising and costs continue to climb. At Whoop, we believe the future looks fundamentally different. We are building the most powerful, personal, preventive health platform in the world - powered by continuous biometric data, advanced analytics, and AI to help people understand their bodies and improve their health in real time. I am grateful to our team, our members, and our partners for believing in this vision. I’ve been building this company for 14 years and I’ve never been more excited for the future.

@avijeet_writes Building something of your own will never feel like that. Worst day running my agency still beats 3 hours in someone else's meeting about someone else's goals.

Everyone's being 'authentic' now. Which actually just made authenticity the new template. Having something real to say is different from saying things 'real.' Seen this too?

@ishverduzco Most founders we work with think the goal is reach. Then they get a viral post, zero DMs, and wonder what went wrong. The metric was never the problem, the audience was.

@therahulissar The 9:16 shift has been coming for a while. We moved all our clients to vertical-first about six months ago and reach picked up almost immediately after. Feed is basically Reels now.

Meta just updated their creative specs again. Starting March 2026: → Stories and Reels will share the same safe zone (finally) → Instagram Feed recommended ratios are shifting to 4:5 for images, 9:16 for video → 9:16 video ads in Feed are showing 7% higher CTR and 4% higher offsite CVR on average. We've only been creating ads in 9:16 for the last year and have been seeing delivery in this placement increase a large amount by just making 9:16 only. If you're still building creative at 1:1 for Feed you're leaving performance on the table. Update your creatives now before March hits.

@dylsphillips This is the whole argument for personal branding in one post. People don't buy from logos. They buy from people they actually know something about.

brand account: 3 million followers, couple hundred likes. ceo's personal account: 20,000 likes on a product update. the algorithm isn't broken. it's telling you something. x.com/davj/status/20…
David J Phillips@davj

Microsoft has 3 million followers Their posts get a couple hundred likes Satya Nadella posts product updates and gets 20,000 People buy from people, not logos If you're a founder and you're not posting, you're leaving distribution on the table @JamesonZaballos was an AI engineer and left Microsoft's on-call grind to build Napa with @chrisjbakke (who told his last startup to Elon after going viral every day for a year) How founders can start creating content: > Start with memes - humor drops people's guard > Turn passive scrolling into active scrolling (bookmark everything) > Remix viral formats for your ICP > Test for 2-4 weeks. Cull the misses. Compound the winners. If posting feels cringy, keep going Your competitors won't That's your moat 🎙️ @JamesonZaballos, CEO & Cofounder, Napa (usenapa.com) on @Fondocom @thestartpod 00:08 Satya vs. Microsoft account: why founder posts win 01:16 “Go direct” defined 02:30 Engineering > direct-response copy 03:42 Talk to pain; ignore the cringe reflex 05:11 Turn scrolling into capture 06:53 Volume for 2–4 weeks; iterate by data 08:05 @memelordtech; meet your ICP where they are 08:42 You’re not boring 09:43 Three-line, ~30K-like LinkedIn post 10:41 Templates; off-days are normal

@shangenflow The order here matters more than people realise. Most founders flip it and wonder why their marketing isn't converting. Brand first, then marketing.

Building an audience is the most powerful asset in the world. As a business owner you should be doing this: Priority - Build your personal brand to get new customers Secondary - Start marketing for your brand to keep those customers Making content to get customers is always the cheapest way to get new customers or clients. But still you will scroll past and think I don't need to. -I will just buy leads and send automated emails -I will run ads -I will do campaigns -I will do referrals -I will do PR Been saying this since 2016.

Most people build a highlight reel and call it a personal brand. Nobody buys the highlight reel. They buy the version of you that shows up when things aren't perfect.
