The party investigate strange goings on at Monveau theatre where a new play by a rising playwright Bertrand Gillard has not been the career launchpad he was hoping for. Seems that the audience have either all gone missing or mad!! Guess some people just ain't made for the stage

Next game up we've one by a first timer at #AthCon, as either a GM or a player. But GM Paul F seems determined to make up for lost time by running 4 games over the 2 days of #AthCon3! First one of Paul's that we focus on is his 8th Level D&D game The Horror Within!

This Star Trek Adventurers game is beginner friendly and so is perfect for new players. You don't even need to know much about Darth Vader & Co in advance of playing! If you fancy beaming up for this one be sure you get your ticket for the Con at athventurecon.ie

Next game we throw our eye over is GM Wayne's as he takes us boldly where no one has gone before. Well maybe a few, but really not many. The crew of the USS Sionnach have returned from deep space exploration & while the big wigs talk strategy the rest get shore leave!

GM Rita has already run several games at #AthCon & the reviews have always been to Michelin star standard! So if this whets your appetite & you are ravenous for adventure??? Then book you place now at athventurecon.ie I can fit in any more food puns.....I'm full!! 😉

This fully flavoursome game promises to be a serious mouthful with a real risk of players biting off more then they can chew! So only experienced players & >18 will be granted a seat at this table! The good news is that knowledge of food may just save you from hungry demons!

Next game up on the chopping board is a D&D 5e adventure! What happens when you take dead PCs from Faerun, bored gods & the devil himself Ghazdon Ramseed and mix all these ingredients together?? You get the perfect recipe for mayhem & mischief that is GM Rita's Hellish Kitchen!

GM Antony will guide (ie kill) you thru the mad, unbalanced & frankly bonkers world of PARANOIA. tickets at athventurecon.ie Just don't let on that you know, because I'm not sure that you have the security clearance. That can result in death 💀

We could tell you more about it but that would require a Security Clearance and not having one can result in death. As can asking about one, knowing about one or even thinking about one. Computer has a few fried chips to don't say I told you. Because that can result in death.

Next game up for review is one that's always been a hit with us: PARANOIA!! A game that is somewhat loosely described at 'cooperative' you take on the role of Troubleshooters who go about shooting trouble defined by the all powerful COMPUTER! The game is fast & lethal!

Gus ran a table of the original rules last year and it proved a huge hit so this is a chance to break out those flares, grow out your sideburns and get your disco moves down. Tickets on sale so get yours now at athventurecon.ie

D&D is now over 50 years old & at #AthCon3 we are giving folks the opportunity to experience the game as it was! Long time friend of the #AthCon & the person for whom the phrase "forever DM" was coined, GM Gus will be running the classic Tomb of Horrors scenario with 1975 rules.

So at some point way, way back in the annals of time, something seismic happened that ultimately brought all to where we are here today. When it came time to throw out of first game tweet (tweet I says) about #AthCon3 it made perfect sense to start at the very beginning, right?
