that’s just false lol. one kid runs away from his responsibilities because he’s too scared/not equipped to face them, and the other faces them head on even if he has to struggle through it. he also learns the most over his arc, while aang stayed relatively stagnant

The gaang divided chores before Zuko joined, Sokka did most of the planning, aang went off to search for cures and supplies…but we are so lucky Zuko joined and served tea omg..Katara was so burdened with those teacups💔

@g4rbazna Sure I’ll explain yes it’s nice that Aang can help Katara feel like a kid here & there but overall, within this dynamic Katara still holds the emotional labour & does a lot of the caretaker responsibilities (chores, managing the gaang) with Zuko it’s equal and lifts a weight off

Zuko was an oppressor. He had to change. The whole point of his redemption was that he was a horrible person that grew. Zuko did not have the same responsibilities as aang
