We understand the frustration here, especially after accepting a strong offer and expecting the transaction to move forward quickly. In some cases, buyers unfortunately do not complete payment after making an offer. To provide more transparency around buyer intent, we offer two levels of verification on the platform. First, buyers can verify their email address by entering a confirmation code sent to their inbox. If a buyer has not completed that step, the offer is clearly labeled as “Buyer Not Verified” on the seller side. Second, buyers have the option to place an upfront deposit when submitting an offer. This is often a stronger indication that the buyer is serious about completing the purchase, and we clearly display when a deposit has been made as well. Once an offer is accepted by both sides, our system automatically sends payment instructions and reminder emails to the buyer to help move the transaction forward. Regarding the second offer you tested, this is likely what happened there as well. If the buyer did not complete the email verification step, the offer would have appeared as “Buyer Not Verified” on your end.

So many are still so confused when they see a domain name lander. Borrow .money and need .cash have had 15 offers in the first week on @atomHQ a few low balls for the names but the majority read, “need $100 will have back in a week. “Just need money for diapers and wipes for my son can pay back shortly. “Give me $500 will pay back $1000 in two weeks” the lander in no way looks like it lends money or is a financial institution. We are still early in the game even after 30 years of the commercial Internet

We recently started testing a new marketing campaign that brought a sudden spike in platform traffic and buyer activity. That change also affected how our system interpreted certain buyer behavior signals, which resulted in a larger number of these price increase notifications being triggered than intended. We are already adjusting the algorithm to incorporate additional signals before scheduling price increases, so the notifications are more meaningful and less sensitive to short-term traffic spikes.
