It’s my understanding, but the API has not been released yet. And my point isn’t to argue that it’s out or not out other than it’s not officially, and that means that it could be pulled at any moment so people who sign up for one of these services are in danger of being disappointed with the outcome. That’s all.

@jarodtaylor @trikcode Haha, that's great. I remember getting so angry with my agent when it told me that the reason why it didn't do something was because it just didn't do it. When I strung together a bunch of obscenties it said "Don't spin out on me Rich". It was a very weird moment.

@scaling01 I had Opus 4.6 do this to me recently when it couldn't figure out a coding problem after 10 or so attempts. It finally told me that we should stop now and pick it up tomorrow.

talked to Opus 4.6 for a couple of hours about personal problems and it has this weird response mode where it's very commanding
"put the phone down", "close the laptop", "Save this conversation. Set the reminder. Go to sleep.", do this, do that

@tannerlinsley I just started testing warp.dev. It was recommended in a Claude Code tips video I watched on YouTube. I like it so far, but I am not sure I'm ready to give up just using Claude Code in a Antigravity terminal.

@Shpigford Until you can work outside the home folder aka an external drive, Cowork doesn't hold much use for me on my Mac Mini with a 512GB SSD.

Larry is back on Claude Max plan!
Here is what worked:
When generating a key with:
claude setup-token
Both my terminal window I generated the key in and the openclaw SSH window were causing the key to split on two lines.
There were no indications in my config files that this had caused errors, no added characters or spaces. (I remember this being in the patch notes at one point, because it used to add a hyphen)
Stretching both windows to max width and trying again worked. Sharing incase this helps anyone else.
I will look through the openclaw git repo later to see if I can help @steipete with this.

Has anthropic finally banned openclaw? Just upgraded my max plan to 20x from 5x. Went from working fine, to: run error: HTTP 401 authentication_error: Invalid bearer token Thought I'd treat Larry to more tokens, now i think i have to cancel my anthropic subscription and switch.

1. Open Source with a very active community
2. Ability to run any model you want including local ones
3. Many open source models are 8 to 10 times cheaper

Why would anyone choose OpenClaw vs Claude Code?
Claude now has:
• Discord/Telegram integration
• Cron Jobs (/loop)
• 1M token memory
• Webhooks to phone
• Can run 24/7 on any Computer or Mac Mini
This covers 95% of what people actually use OpenClaw for with better security and easier setup
The only reason to stick with OpenClaw is if you want a multi-agent setup. That's the only difference I could think of
