@TlKTOKQUANT I appreciate you informing others about this man, but you could have at least shared credit or phrased your response more positively. I just want to ensure that no one is actually permanently banned. As far as I know, this appears to be a fake ban message.

@Remembrncce Very interesting, I wonder if Activision is perhaps implementing a backend solution to hopefully revert everyone’s account to its original state. Let’s all hope.

@Attacklg This happened to me but then my level was reverted back to prestige 15 due to “corrupted rank data”

BREAKING It appears that anyone who was affected by C isn’t sharp may have been level reverted in Black Ops 2. As a result, their prestige has been put to a legitimate prestige of 10, and some players are reporting receiving false ban messages as a result of this.

@lingarddafiel I’m reaching out to everyone’s messages. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to remember all of you. I hope Activision releases a patch soon because it’s a big job for just one person.

I’ve been hearing reports of others experiencing the same issue. Have you encountered this problem yet? Is Activision planning to release a hotfix or patch soon? Additionally, I’ve heard that anyone who got this issue was reverted to Prestige 10.

It seems that someone working from Activision customer support sent a possible cease and desist or a DMCA letter to C isn’t sharp from Black Ops 2. As of now, it appears that he is complying, as all his videos on YouTube have been taken down. Source: @ ck1

@TaylorAlon36806 @Simmo I want to clarify that this is not me. The person named “YEET YEET” is still technically bricking accounts because the Prestige 15 does not allow for progression towards camo progression or weapon levels.

@4804088396 I wouldn’t say the game is completely unplayable. You can still play it, but I recommend being cautious in certain game modes. I suggest avoiding search and destroy, team death match, ground war, and nukejacked. There are probably other game modes that require caution as well.
