@rodmagaru Of course all these would boil down to evidence: was there an agreement as to ownership? If there is none, the law is clear that it belongs to the creator.

@rodmagaru In the course of the running of the show on TAPE, was there transfer of copyright ownership? Section 180.2 of the Code says “the copyright is not deemed assigned inter vivos in whole or in part unless there is a written indication of such intention.”

@attygideon No, that’s an absolutely bad take because design contests are exploitative! It’s basically free labor. PAGCOR knew what they were doing. They had a choice to hire reputable design agencies but they wanted to siphon the money through this “rebrand” project.
