I Just got my first job with a big real estate firm on the Island and I was commuting from Magodo every day. I had to wake up by 4am just to catch the staff bus, and I wouldn’t get home until around 10pm because of traffic. It was draining, so I decided to move closer to the mainland.
I reached out to a friend. He told me he was away in for the Christmas/New Year break and didn’t even have money to get back to Lagos, so I had to send him money to return. I told him to let me know when he got back — he did, and I moved in with him.
From the day I moved in, I was responsible for everything. And I mean everything — feeding, bills, upkeep, money to carry models plus betting and I mean i will fund this guy's bet9ja, drinking. All these minus “abeg you get 2k” here and there.
Along the line, I realised I had no savings because I was basically taking care of two people. So I decided to cut back and be more responsible with my finances. That’s when the problem started.
Long story short, on Valentine's day that year, my "friend" came with thugs to send me out of the house. I ended up sleeping in a park that night because it was too late to get a bus back home. I still have the video evidence
We have been calling each other "friends" since uni days
Not to mention that immediately I left, everything started changing for good, few months after I got my first car.
Recently, this same person reached out to ask me for help. For a moment, I almost sent it. But something in me just refused.

I bookmarked this tweet to come back when I was fully healed.
Once in your life, please experience parting on the same table with fraud boys, it would really mess up your perspective about women.
This particular party, I got invited to a table with some guys I knew, money was rolling, the drinks kept coming, hypeman couldn't leave our table, we were the centre of attention and then they brought the girls.
They had a guy whose job was to procure the babes. as they were coming, they were visually screening the ones that didn't meet cut off dress and sophistication standards, mind you these were random babes that actually also came for the party and not models oo.
All this moral compass talk ends on the TL bro, this particular babe I was eyeing on the table gave the guy next to me head right there at the party (they have never met before). One of the guys smashed two of the babes in his car simultaneously, the others took them home and you know what.
2 weeks later, I randomly bump into one of the babes in a different setting and I couldn't believe my eyes with the way she spoke.
Omor, fuck fraud boys mehn!

If you haven’t lived the fraud lifestyle or rolled with fraud boys, there’s a side to women you will never see

-Never tailgate a car most especially heavily tinted cars
-whenever you’re behind a car at a red light 🚦, always make sure you turn you steering wheel completely to the left or right with your gear on Neutral incase someone behind you loses their brake
-avoid driving anywhere around a big truck because the chances of you being on their blind spot is very high

Please read through🚨
I know a girl who was doing everything right.
Good girl. Focused. Responsible.
She had friends who were always outside.
Clubbing. Partying. Living fast.
They invited her many times.
She always said no.
She chose discipline.
Then life happened.
She lost her job… because she refused to compromise herself.
She’s the first child.
Her family depends on her.
Then one day, she got a call.
Her mum needed surgery.
₦5 million.
She tried everything.
Asked everyone.
Nothing worked.
Time was running out.
So she called those same friends she used to avoid.
Her first night out, a man gave her ₦1m.
Just like that.
She went home confused.
Not because of what she did…
but because of how easy it was.
Within a short time, she raised the money.
Her mum got the surgery.
Everything was “fine.”
But something changed.
She didn’t go back to her old life.
Now she’s fully in that world.
Not because she planned it…
but because survival introduced her to it.
So here’s the uncomfortable question:
Do you blame her… or the situation that left her with no real choices?
