@RokoMijic @tylercowen @be_inaudible no a simple low-pass filter wouldn't defeat it. even normal jammers don't just add high-frequency noise that you can filter away, but leverage non-linearity effects in the microphone circuit, which results in lower freq noise. there's more to it - happy to expand! :)

@DaveBlass Personally, more section 31 from the DS9 era would have been the bomb! I don’t know what this was, the greatness that Michell Yeo delivered in Discovery was abused. Sorry, look to Picard S3 for answers.

A lot of people put a ton of effort into Section 31. Given that it was one of the few shows that went around the Strike it was a project that kept people working and allowed them to provide for their families and for that I am grateful. For the audience it's entertainment, for people in the industry. It's work that puts food on the table and the folks that worked on this film are really great artist who busted their butts to build, light and shoot this film.

Why France could implode. This is Germany - the feedback loop of incentives to work to create wealth where a portion pays for a welfare state (a good thing) doesn't work anymore and it's getting worse, with this specific example. But now, let's compare it with France.

@MicrosoftLoop really talk folks, why is it so hard to create a link to a sub-page, notion is just forward slash > page. (Also no need for the deep link preview by default for loop pages on the same workspace) Loop requires actual science. For people with varying degrees of IT literacy, creating an arbitrary hierarchical Page structure is hard work and a crappy experience, plus there are no emojis on links to sub pages. I’m also a small voice among many asking where this basic feature is. Timeline on fixing?
