◾️ Renewed merchant strikes in Tehran's Grand Bazaar escalated to clashes as the #rial continued its fall to a new ATL. Protests continued across many Tehran districts, excluding northern ones. As the government launched an investigation into a prior hospital attack in Ilam Province, security forces fired tear gas at Sina Hospital (Hassan Abad) and 15 Khordad Metro Station to confront the protesters.
◾️ Massive crowds (nearly the whole city) took to the streets in Abdanan (Ilam Province). Protests continued in many western cities, including Malekshahi, Borujerd (Lorestan), Shahrekord (Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari), and others.
◾️ Protests span over 70 cities in more than 25 provinces (out of 31).
◾️ #Internet heavily disrupted: sporadic outages, severe throttling, and traffic drops, worst in hotspots like Tehran and the west.
