yup, the number of academic papers I read during my dissertation written by cis women or enbys labeling binary trans women as "gender vigilantes" or "binary rupturers" was really really fucking frustrating 🙄

There's this thing where non-binary trans people have decided for binary trans people, especially trans women, that it's fine to misgender us as long as they degender us. It's a problem. It's actually reinforcing an oppressive, transmisogynistic structure.
