The efforts put in place by the deputy National Woman leader of the All Progressives Congress APC Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim the same time a member of the National working committee of the party attended the meeting held at TY Danjuma House Jalingo Taraba State capital. These collaborative efforts aimed at strengthen the party coalition, direction and foresight in the party systems. Recalled that APC is the ruling party in Nigeria whose Nigeria and Nigerians aspired to contest because of the integrity and transparency that imbibe the party since inception of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Agbu Kefas of Taraba State by balancing the equation and the equilibrium of the party and its members. However, Governor Agbu Kefas convened a critical stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress APC on Saturday May 2, 2026 at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo the Taraba State capital. The primary aimed of the meeting was to deliberates on the mode of the primary election and to ensure the party remains united following Governor's Kefas recent defection to the All Progressives Congress APC. Consensus: the beauty of democracy builds on agreement and intelligibility which may enhanced effectiviness and party unity across borders. To this notes Governor's Kefas directed leaders and the stakeholders to return to their respective Zones and work toward producing consensus candidates for all elective positions within a frame of expectations The Governor further retreated that both the old and new party entrance must be accommodated to maintain a strong party ally both within and beyond the State. Doing that would amount to party enhancement and advancements in the future of Democracy in Taraba State and Nigeria as a hall mark. Notwithstanding, Governor Agbu Kefas is a democrat par excellent whose compassion, zeal and tolerance center on infrastructure, human and capital development. Peaceful Engagement: His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas urged Aspirants to avoid unnecessary conflict stressing that political ambitions should not lead to the sagregation within the State and its environ. While addressing grievances Governor Kefas assured stakeholders concerns arising from recent party congresses were being given fairness and transparency while cording the affairs of Government and the democracy as a hall mark of identity. Finally, the meeting retreats personality as a Hallmark of democracy in Taraba State and Nigeria as a whole: Federal and the State official, serving Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, and Members of the Taraba State House of Assembly all graced the events. Party Leaders: The indefatigable State party Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, and members of the State working committee (SWC). Executive members: the ministry of State for Regional Development, Hon. Barrister Uba Maigari Ahmadu and the 16 Local Government Chairmen Former Deputy Governor's of the State during late Danbaba Suntai Alhaji Garba Umar UTC also attended the event. We thank our leader His Excellency Dr Agbu Kefas for insightful and foresight in ruling the affairs of the electoral and the party as a Hallmark of democracy in Taraba State and Nigeria as a whole.
