When did software documentation go from detailed technical details on how a thing actually works to round-peg-goes-in-round-hole mind dribble? Documentation is overly focused today on people looking for fast "how do I do exactly X" user guides. 🤮

Deve ser pq eu sou velho, mas eu acho que a melhor forma de comunicação ainda é o e-mail. Assíncrono, fácil de pesquisar. O problema dos spams foi resolvido anos atrás, não sei pq abandonaram em detrimento das redes sociais e instant messaging :(

Many forget that the client-server architecture is a *distributed system*. The request-response workflow we have historically used helped us forget it. However, if you keep a WebSocket connection open with bidirectional data, you can no longer ignore it. 🧵

@giovannibassi Não sei se as cápsulas já são recicláveis, mas elas não eram. Existe o programa de coleta, fundo para reciclagem etc. Mas a linguagem em tudo era bem cuidadosa em não afirmar que as cápsulas eram recicláveis. Elas não tinham ♻️. Eles coletavam para "descarte consciente".

E nem vou falar de todo esse alumínio que eles desperdiçam, mesmo tentando reciclar. Também não vou falar da vergonha da guerra às cápsulas alternativas, ameaçadas de processos de propriedade intelectual. Porque eu sou legal.

Uma cápsula da Nespresso custa 3,20 e produz 50ml de café. O café especial que compro pelo zap do Sítio São Sebastião (Santa Rita do Sapucaí) custa R$25/250g, com o qual faço 3,1 litros de café. Com o mesmo $ faço 400ml de Nespresso: ~8x mais caro. Valorize o produtor nacional.

Unpopular opinion: you should copy/fork/DIY your dependencies for everything but the most complicated or sensitive functionality (GUI, crypto, networking, etc.). Blindly depending on trivial functionality or having a deep dependency tree causes more problems than it solves.
