AU Public History

Please join American University’s Graduate Program in Public History in celebrating our students! Starting this week, we will feature posters created by our second-year students all showcasing, "How we do public history."

These projects provide students opportunities to learn public history in the field, hone project management skills, and practice working as a team.

Our first years are displaying their practicum posters in person from 4-5 at Battel! Every spring, as part of the public history practicum, students and faculty work alongside @AmericanU’s partner institutions to develop new programs, future exhibits, and other interpretive works
