Ours are brick and with roads and roads of rows houses mixed with tower blocks, the bricks trap the heat even when the sun is down the bricks are still warm. @Playteaux1 I'm from central Florida along the Indian river. 80 degrees is my comfort zone. No AC just ceiling fans running. We never turned on the AC until it reached around 90. The humidity is always high so its wet in the sunlight and cool in the shade.
