@faethyme spanish creators were hinting this for few months, my personal theory is that KC was pushing for France and MKOI for Spain so Riot decided for fully online to avoid speculations that they are favouring any team

An important game design lesson: do not create a button that, when pressed, gives someone a worse time. People will press it (because they think they want what it outputs) and then be upset that you gave them a worse time.

How are we living in a world where a streamer ridicules a player like Chovy when given the amazing opportunity to interview him and then lies about having the CEO's ok. And yes, I get it, cultural norms differ, but does nobody think twice about the repercussions?!

First Stand is finally here and Diable can actually see stuff. Curious how this first series will go. BFX is so promising, but I could see the massive difference in international stage experience between these teams effect them negatively

@arnoldwh @sonsiwoosh Most people who voice this opinion seem to be from our very different western esport culture. I don't think you need more content to bridge that gap, but rather a specific type that connects ability and personality … presenting players in the best light without overtaxing them.

@sonsiwoosh I think we need to do a better job of having more membership content available, even if it’s just small clips while still providing members a more exclusive feeling. Gotta find the right balance…unfortunately more content isn’t the answer since I don’t want Chovy to complain 😂

@drewlevin Positive socialising happens if there is a common low stakes goal, especially when the behaviour immediately gets rewarded imo. Ingame VC I'm not sure about, but in a lobby or in queue with some coop activities, maybe even rewarding single digit BE - that could actually be fun.

A lot of folks - fairly, imo - have criticized League for making the game feel less social. Many people have asked us to ship voice chat. A question for you: IF we shipped VC, what in-game social features would make League even better? What else would be valuable?

@arnoldwh Funnily enough, last year's Blood Sweat & Tears actually lines up shockingly well with the Worlds MV. It's still slow, but it has a lot more grit and intensity. TheShy's Aatrox gets a completely different vibe and so does Ruler vs Azir, thanks to the line "And I won't fall".

I figured out why this Worlds MV doesn’t slap. We’ve gotten way too used to extreme edm / club sets / tik toks / anime to the point where we are numb to visuals if it doesn’t line up perfectly to the soundtrack which I bet is really tough given timelines/production constraints.
