There’s so much more that I could mention because for months it’s been lie after lie being spread about her, to the point that this is how a lot of the public perceives her now. I hope this thread can help bring the truth to light because she deserves so much better.

And even though she’s the main dancer, in their choreography the girls will all take turns in the center. In the dance breaks every girl has a solo moment.

She is not taking up all the lines in their music. Of course Gabriela was created around her culture so she carried it. But most of the time the girls will distribute the songs differently depending on the concept. Overall in their discography she doesn’t even come in 3rd place.

7. She’s being “pushed” by HxG Daniela is not replacing anyone. For one she’s always been in the center with manon. On rare occasions the others take turns but most of the time it was them.

Regardless of how you feel on this subject you can NOT lie and say she never claimed our culture. She’s always been loud and proud about her roots and used her huge platform to uplift all of Latin America. Also non Latinos have NO right to give their two cents on this.

She shows so much love to her latin fans. She even listened when some people decided she shouldn’t call herself latina and changed the way she speaks about it out of respect to them.

6. “She never claimed her latin roots before” Daniela grew up doing competitive ballroom and other latin dancing. She went on shows like sábado gigante and met stars who’s music she grew up with. Her first language was Spanish and she speaks it fluently.

Daniela said that as a teen in a predominantly white school she started changing herself to fit in with everyone else, which is why she went blonde and straightened her hair. When she met the girls from DA she felt like she could be herself again. You can’t hold this against her.

Daniela is not trying to make herself darker to look like manon. She does not spray tan. She does however enjoy tanning in the sun and always has. This is not new nor is it artificial.

Her style is not inspired by manon whatsoever, it’s actually the other way around. Manon has admitted it herself on countless occasions.

5. “Daniela copied manon and stole her entire look” People say this because she had blonde hair during Touch and now she changed her brows and died her hair for Gabriela. She gave manon credit for the eyebrow inspiration several times, but her hair is naturally curly and dark.

Manon is even dating one of Playboi Carti’s groupies but nobody cared because everyone understands a women shouldn’t be held accountable for a man’s actions… except when it comes to daniela of course.
