I completely disagree with that take. I really think that Koreans would just end up dominating the main league and no one outside of Korea would really care anymore. I mean id watch, i just think theres a huge chunk of viewers who want to watch their region, not just top tier league. Like CBLOL teams, and KC and MKOI.

The ONLY way for Western teams to become competitive internationally in LoL is to create an Asian-based league with 20ish of the top teams from all current regions. Regional leagues become feeders for this professional league. A focused regional hub is the biggest factor in esports history that creates competitive parity.
