This week, Emeritus Prof Ian Chubb AC FAA FTSE, Academy Secretary for Science Policy, and Minister for Science the Hon Ed Husic MP addressed the official 2024 Australian Olympiad Teams Announcement (arranged by Australian Maths Trust and Australian Science Innovations). 🌟 “Science is more than just smart people being smart. Science is ambitious, because it points us to the future, and gives us hope. Science is cooperative because everyone might be trying to be the best, but the wise amongst us know that you only get to be the best with the help of others.” – Prof Ian Chubb. Participating in the exams and Summer School is a valuable experience for both schools and students. It’s a chance to build skills, knowledge, and connections in the exciting world of science. Students may sit the exam for one or more disciplines: 🔴 Physics – Mon 29 July 🔵 Biology – Tues 30 July 🟠 Earth & Environmental Science – Wed 31 July 🟡 Chemistry – Thurs 1 August Registrations are now open!
